Strength: determined the number of enemies present on missions

Vigilance is Advent’s concern - If Vigilance exceeds strength, they’ll move in troops

• decays by 1 every 5-9 days
• +12 hours for each active rebel above 5 (ex: 7 active rebels increases decay timer by 1 day)
• Completing a mission in the region resets the timer

Spiking Vigilance means strength will generally rise soon

If Advent Strength is 5 or more, probably don’t run missions

• there will be a lot of advent on the missions you find and your chances for a retaliation go up a lot
• It can be useful to keep folks on intel until you find a troop ambush
• But before too long you probably want them on hiding to let the area cool down
  • With one or two on intel to try and find troop ambushes
  • If there are very few rebels int he region, I sometimes put the two rebels on recruit, but I have generally been moving away from this.
